The International Philanthropic Society of Sweden was founded in Stockholm, registered as a non-
profit organisation, 2013. It was founded by Kanthi S Beck, Silvana Rizzi Lenahan with the support of
the international and Swedish community in Stockholm. It was inaugurated by the French
Ambassador H.E. Jean Pierre LaCroix in May 2013. Kanthi S Beck and Silvana Rizzi Lenahan were past Presidents of the International Women’s Club of Stockholm, IWC.
IPS was created in order to help vulnerable children in need, locally and internationally.
